SEJARAH LEBAK

Hari jadi Kabupaten Lebak ditetapkan pada tanggal 2 Desmber 1828. Beberapa catatan penting yang dijadikan dasar pertimbangan dalam penetapan hari jadi Kabupaten Lebak sebagai berikut :
  1. Wilayah Kesultanan Bnten dibagi menjadi 4 wilayah, yaitu :
a.  Banten Elor
b.  Banten Kulon
c.  Banten Tengah
d.  Banten Kidul

  1. Pembagian wilayah kresidenan Banten menjadi 3 berdasarkan keputusan Jenderal Hindia Belanda pada tanggal 2 Desember 1828.
